This is our 23rd year of making Chocolate Turtles. If you haven't tried a Chocolate Turtle, you're missing a tasty treat! They consist of chocolate, pecans, and homemade caramel, and are then topped again with chocolate. This fundraiser began in 2003 with the Holy Spirit PTA, then moved to a parish fundraiser. For those who have helped with this fundraiser, you already know it takes many volunteers. There are four steps involved in making the turtles, and four dates to help out. We will start out by making the homemade caramel on Saturday, October 18th, with ingredients from our generous donors.

On Wednesday, October 22nd, we cut all the caramel into small square pieces, so they are ready to go for turtle assembling on Saturday, November 1st. That following Monday, November 3rd, the turtles will be boxed and ready to sell on November 8th & 9th after all the Masses. The turtles make a great treat for yourself and excellent gifts for the holidays.
