First Holy Communion

During this beautiful sacrament, children receive the Body and Blood of Christ for the very first time. It is a moment filled with excitement, reverence, and celebration as they are welcomed more fully into the life of the Church. From this day forward, they are able to participate more deeply in the Mass by receiving the Eucharist, the very heart of our Catholic faith.

First Holy Communion is a joyful and important milestone in a Catholic child’s faith journey. Around the age of seven—often called the “age of reason”—children begin to understand more deeply who Jesus is and the special gift of the Eucharist.
First Holy Communion is not only a special day for the child, but also a joyful celebration for families and our entire parish community as we witness our young members grow in their love for Jesus.
